Work Out Timer by Rick Honor System Shareware Now 3rd Edition
Plays Your Workout Music or The Tada Wav
For all my martial arts ezine readers, my ebook readers or anyone else that needs a timer for workouts or anything else.
I wrote this shareware program workout timer with the help of the AutoIt forum for my ten minute workout which you can find in my printable ebook Solo Martial Arts Drills.

Just double click InstallChajonshimWorkOutTimer3.exe it uses the program can be found at C:\ProgramsByRick\ChajonshimWorkOutTimer\
It's Pretty Simple
Double click on StartChajonshimWorkOutTimer3.exe. You can find a shortcut to it on your desktop in a folder called Programs By Rick\ChajonshimWorkOutTimer. If you're like me you're not punching and kicking the minute you double click the mouse so I set up a 15 second delay so you can get ready. The screen will countdown 15 seconds for you, you'll hear the tada.wav, and your timer will begin.
You can either select play workout music or play tada. Every time the round ends you'll hear the tada.wav. That way you won't have to look at your timer all the time. Caution is advised, I used to have the workout timer change songs after the time was over but I got tired of listening to the first 60 seconds of my motivational music, so now the music plays all the way through and you may not be able to hear the tada.wav. Let me know what you think of this.
You close the program with the with the same pull down menu you started the timer with by selecting close and clicking Do It.
A reader wrote in and said I should mention to click the Do It button after using the pull down menu.

Redid the timer completely adding music and tadas in the same timer. Got rid of the problem with spaces. It now keeps track of Rounds, time in round gone by, and total workout time!.

you workout.
The menu in the upper left hand corner of the workout timer honor system shareware program stays on top.
Why did I put the time and date on the workout timer program?
The date? Who knows? It seemed convenient. The time? I workout during my lunch hour and was always looking at the clock to see what time it was. Now it's all in front of my face if I need it on the workout timer program.

Ricks Separate Music Workout Timer shareware now gives you the ability to choose your first workout song in your workout music folder (you provide your own music). The Music Workout Timer shareware program will then play your songs in the order the workout music list was created not simply goto the first work out song. Still working on music working in all Windows platforms. So far it seems the easiest way may be to have you set the time and have the music change songs at the requested time. Let me know what you all think.

Music Timer shareware Directions

Double click on StartMusicWorkOutTimer.exe
Give the path to your music in the browser box that opens no spaces please just in case. Though I have tested this with spaces and the music work out timer does work.
A box will then pop up asking how many seconds you'd like to work out per round. I even give you the conversion of up to three minutes in seconds, but you can place however many seconds you want in the box. I usually go 60 seconds per round (one minute) when I do my 10 minute work out
You'll have 15 seconds to get ready to work out. The program will countdown for you. Music may start as soon as the window appears if you've used the Music Work Out shareware Timer before. Don't worry your workout timer hasn't started yet.
The window will refresh and your music will begin and so will your workout.
The music will continue to loop until your round of workout is over.
The window will refresh and new music will begin. That is the signal the next round of your workout has started.
The large window keeps track of the rounds for you.
To exist just close the window and the music will stop. When the round is over the program will exit as well.
